This is the top of my wedding cake at our one year anniversary.Normally any cake that's been in the freezer for a year is freezer burned and tastes nasty-BAD !
This is what I did:
*First, freeze it a bit so the frosting will harden a bit
*Wrap it in saran wrap very generously
*Generously wrap it in aluminum foil
*Put it in a Tupperware or other air-tight freezer container. Seal tightly.
*Put it into the freezer.
THIS DOES WORK!!!! A year later when you take the top layer out and it UN-thaws it is amazing! You can celebrate your first anniversary with wedding cake that taste like it is only a week old. So, no more bad-tasting, year-old wedding cake!
