The Importance of the ICE!

Ice is what Zack calls his pacifier. Yesterday, during Sacrament Meeting Zack dropped his ice. A baby, a few pews in front of us popped up and had the exact same one that Zack had dropped. My little monkey got this look of "Hey!" Zack looked down and then looked up and exclaimed, "My Ice! My Ice!" The baby went back down and Ben picked up Zack's ice and the baby popped back up without the i icee but then, the baby was given back his ice and Zack had this look of "huuuuuh? That's weird how can he have the same one as me, I have mine right here." So a lesson was learned the ice is very important to my 2 year old.

A Wedding Tip For You

This is the top of my wedding cake at our one year anniversary.
Normally any cake that's been in the freezer for a year is freezer burned and tastes nasty-BAD !

This is what I did:

*First, freeze it a bit so the frosting will harden a bit
*Wrap it in saran wrap very generously
*Generously wrap it in aluminum foil
*Put it in a Tupperware or other air-tight freezer container. Seal tightly.
*Put it into the freezer.

THIS DOES WORK!!!! A year later when you take the top layer out and it UN-thaws it is amazing! You can celebrate your first anniversary with wedding cake that taste like it is only a week old. So, no more bad-tasting, year-old wedding cake!
