I truly feel so blessed when I think of mine and Ben's marriage. We are so happy with our life and can't think of any better way to spend our life than with each other. Today we are celebrating two years of marriage!!!
I sit here and smile as I write this, so glad that I am blessed enough to be in a wonderful marriage. It makes me think of Nephi when he said that there is opposition in all things and that you must know sadness before you can know happiness. I almost wonder if the Lord's plan for my first boyfriend (whom was extremely controlling and abusive) was to make me more aware and appreciative of Ben and how wonderful he is and if it was, it totally worked. I guess that is the trick with being omnipotent, He really does know what is best for all of us. It makes me humble to realize how much the Lord must love each of us to take into consideration all of the little things in each of our lives.
