A Sweet Moment

Such a sweet moment that we were able to capture. Zack and Max are starting to play together. These are one of many moments that as a parent you are waiting for; that your children will start to play and become each other's best friends.

A moment worth waiting for.

Repeating Words

So today when Max was taking a nap Zack and I were having some time together he wanted his cars Lego's that he got from his Aunt Becky for Christmas.

He got Mater out and asked "who's this?" I said, "Mater"
He said, "Mater" then put it down.
Then he got Lighting McQueen out and he asked he asked, "who's this?"
I said, "Lighting"
He said, "Lighting." then he put it down.
Then he pulled out the 3rd one and asked, Who's this?"
I said, "I have no clue." (since it is from cars 2)
Then he said, "No clue."
I had to laugh out loud it was so cute.

It show that you do have to be careful in what you said cause your child will repeat you someday.

Under the Stair Case

Zackary Ipson under the stair case.

While we were out in UT for Thanksgiving we spent a few days with Janice, Jared and their kids we were put into the basement. Now they were going to put the mattress underneath the stair case. But then they decided not to but this little monkey decided all on his own to do this. What a funny little guy.

Oh how much Harry Potter has influence on a whole lot of people.

2nd time 5 generation

1st Gordon Dureny 2nd Carl Durney 3rd Carolyn (Durney)Ipson
4th Benjamin Ipson 5th Zackary & Maxwell Ipson

While we were out in UT for Thanksgiving we took a day trip to up to Blackfoot, ID to see Ben's great grandpa Durney and to get another 5 generation picture. Ben's great grandpa will be 102 this February. He still lives on his own, and his mind is still very sharp.

This time when we went we took two copies of the Book of Mormon, one for each of our sons, so that he can sign them. Then their great grandpa can, then their grandma, then their daddy. When they get older (when they get married) they will get it and then they will sign it. This will
become a family heirloom, being passed down from generation to generation.

What a great gift this will be.

Christmas

This year was Max First Christmas

Also the year that Zack really got into it meaning that he opened his own and wanted to open everyone else presents.

Oh how much fun it was to see Zack finally wanting to open up his own and got in to Christmas.

Even Max had some fun.

Even though Christmas was on a Sunday and we went to Church.(we are church going people)
Sacrament was still nice (and that was all there was) we sang a lot of Christmas hymns and several little talks.

After we got home changed and did our parts in making the food That we were assigned to We headed to mom's and dad's house for the BIG family get together. It was loud,CRAZY and a whole lot of fun.

My Nephew Ben now does what his dad (when he was still alive) did he is the one that sort out the presents and hands them out. When we all open our presents from each other.

It is such a wonderful day being with Family.

modern technology---who needs it?

Why do you need a i-pod, a DS, a cell, a Kindle or any other modern gadget when you have this to entertain you.
You are seeing this right; 5 teen boys being entertained by watching Max sleep.
Then some more relatives decided to watch him sleep, and when he woke up they played with him. So who really needs modern technology?
This was taken out in UT at Thanksgiving.
